We started SB Railcar LLC  to offer professional and straight forward services to the rail industry. We believe in being representative of our clients, as one of the team, to achieve the best results and not just "broker" the deal. Our services include railcar sales, leasing, scrapping (dedicated and mobile), maintenance (including running repairs, re-stenciling, new AEI tags), and storage solutions. We work with all railcar types, new and used. Additionally, we offer locomotive sales, leasing, and storage options.

 

The Team:

Scott Bauer has been directly involved in the rail industry since 2013, bringing his experience of starting-up and building a railcar manufacturing facility to the group. As the former VP of Operations, his responsibilities included outfitting the facility with all rail car manufacturing equipment, hiring all major positions, achieving AAR facility certification and AAR first railcar certification. He also established and built relationships with key AAR suppliers and interested railcar customers. His honesty and eagerness to work with people to find solutions helps him to stand out.

Prior to the rail industry, Scott worked for over 15 years in steel fabrication, manufacturing everything from custom amusement rides to high-vacuum chambers. He began in engineering and through strong leadership, moved progressively into management roles.

Tiffany Bauer brings a background of over 15 years in retail management and customer service to the company. With a strong focus on meeting company goals and customer needs, she quickly moved into management roles where she successfully led teams to exceed company expectations. She was tasked with the hiring and training of new employees, as well as setting budgets, team goals and schedules. Tiffany manages customer accounts and with her strong management and customer service background, she is able to guide them in the process to meet all of their requirements while helping them with their projects.

 

Ted Scudder has a vast knowledge base in heavy manufacturing that supports the North American Rail Industry. Since 1997, Ted's passion for the rail industry grew when he had the opportunity to work with Thrall Car Service Parts. Combined with his business education and military experience, Ted provides  SB Railcar LLC with leadership and critical thinking skills required for sales in the rail industry markets.
